  205.      This Financial Planner module is designed to assist individuals in the
  206.      planning for INCOME PROTECTION (Financial Situation if Disabled).
  207.      Insurance is usually used to cover any shortages in these needs. Amounts
  208.      of Insurance should be based on covering exposed risk and not some
  209.      arbitrary formula such as X% or X times earnings. The optimum situation
  210.      is not needing any insurance because your savings and investment assets
  211.      would cover any exposed risk. This program will help analyse your
  212.      situation and if deficient, suggest the appropriate amounts of insurance
  213.      that is required.
  214.  
  215.      Individuals are more and more responsible to insure they have sufficient
  216.      assets to support themselves in case of being disabled.
  217.  
  218.      This program is designed to help you to reach your income protection goal.
  219.      You need to know where you are and if what your doing leads to your goal.
  220.      By using this program all these questions can be answered. You can
  221.      monitor your progress as ofter as you like, because you have the tool
  222.      to do it with this program.

  288.  (This program has two main Modes, DEMONSTRATION and REGULAR. Suggest review
  289.      of the DEMONSTRATION Mode before using the REGULAR Mode.)

  291.    1. At the Introduction Screen, choose the AUTOMATIC PRESENTATION (Type 1
  292.       and Press Return). After reviewing each screen, Press Return to Continue
  293.       until you reach the end of the program. This is a quick general review
  294.       of the programs features and benefits.

  296.    2. After the end of the Automatic Presentation, the MAIN MENU will reappear
  297.       as just the Demonstration Mode. You may choose any item desired for
  298.       for furthur review. You should, as a minimum, review menu items not
  299.       presented during the Automatic Presentation.

  301.    3. Use the REGULAR MODE of the program. At MAIN MENU choose # 3 Utilities
  302.       Option Menu. At Utilities Option Menu choose Option # 1 to INPUT USER

  304.       program will then allow for your input and computation of the analysis.

  409.      First Financial Software has been providing professional financial
  410.      planning software to professionals (Financial Planners, Stockbrokers,
  411.      Insurance Agents, CPA's, etc.) since 1982. Our commercial program, FPLAN,
  412.      covers all aspects of personal financial planning from investments to
  413.      insurance. Because of the need for an organized approach to financial
  414.      planning and to make it available to more people, we have decided to
  415.      provide various FPLAN modules as Shareware.
  416.  
  417.      This Financial Planner module is designed to assist individuals in the
  418.      planning for INCOME PROTECTION (Financial Situation if Disabled).

  426.      all that you need to know to perform your own retirement analysis.

  431.      If you find this program useful and would like more financial planning in
  432.      this format, we have a few suggestions and requests.

  551.      Certified Financial Planner. It will cover the following financial areas:

  554.      Assumptions, College Education Planning, Retirement, Capital Needs
  555.      (Life Insurance), Estate Planning and Disability Income Planning.

  557.      If you desire to do this (or just completing the questionnaire is a good
  558.      financial experience), print the 8 page questionnaire and submit it with
  559.      the Order Form (Main Menu Option 4) and fee. We will process your plan and
  560.      send you a printed report. After you review the report, we can discuss it

  697.      We will now present the INCOME PROTECTION PLANNING MODULE. This analysis
  698. determines your situation in case your were disabled. Most people are four
  699. times more likely to be disabled than to die and most do not know the amount
  700. of benefits they would get. An important part of this analysis is ascertaining
  701. the amount of benefits you would get.

  703.      For the Demonstration version, the data will already be noted as a sample.
  704. In the sample case, the current situation shows a shortage of $560 per month,
  705. if disabled. The purchase of $500 per month in additional personal disability
  706. insurance and reduction of the marginal tax bracket, changes the situation
  707. to be over the requirement by $418 per month.
